Getting to School

We provide bus transportation for:

• Non-transfer elementary students living 1.5 miles or more from their school; and
• Non-transfer middle school or high school students living 2 miles or more from their school.

Buses may arrive up to 15 minutes after the scheduled stop time. Students should remain at the stop up to 15 minutes after the scheduled stop time. If students wait longer than 15 minutes, call 918-833-8100.

Parent parking and drop-off are located in front of our school building.

We have a highly structured dismissal procedure, as listed below:

• All students are walked to the cafeteria.
• Students sit at the designated tables according to their scheduled departure time from school. Students walking home sit together, while those riding the bus sit in another group, and car riders sit with their group.
• All staff members monitor the dismissal and escort students to their designated areas.
• We use walkie-talkies to let staff members know when car riders are ready to be picked up.
• Staff members also accompany bus riders and provide assistance on the bus.
